MORE ABOUT ME
From a young age, I found myself searching for ways to be involved in the world of sports. Whether I was playing, coaching, watching, or talking, I was constantly surrounded by sports (usually hockey). My love for sports and academic background in psychology and counseling led me to the sport psychology field. My athletic, academic, and professional backgrounds give me a unique perspective of the mental aspect of sport, which I use to help athletes unlock their performance potential to the fullest extent.

MY APPROACH
The Core Pillars of SLMP
ATHLETE-CENTERED
I firmly believe in a collaborative approach to mental performance work. This means that I hold great value in the working relationships I develop with each coach and athlete with whom I work. Coaches and athletes can expect an environment that allows them to actively participate in their own growth and development.
STRENGTHS-BASED
Emphasizing strengths and competencies, rather than delving into problems and perceived weaknesses, can be very beneficial. My work is grounded in the belief that athletes have the underlying strengths and skills to enhance their performance. That holistic understanding helps provide context for identifying those strengths and skills that can be applied to athletic performance and overall well-being.
INCLUSIVE
One of my primary objectives is to provide a safe space for athletes of all identities and backgrounds so that individuals can focus on their athletic and personal development. I value diversity of thought and am committed to understanding the perspectives of those with whom I work in order to encourage diversity and foster inclusivity.
